Meito Healthy Friend

Packaging: 20-kg net in Kraft-paper bag
Meito Healthy Friend (MHF) contains Dextran-oligosaccharide as a prebiotic. By improving intestinal microflora of livestock and poultry, MHF has many efficacies on them and brings much profit to livestock and poultry industries.

Ingredients:
Dextran-oligosaccharide, Fructose and Glucose

Features and Benefits:
Dextran-oligosaccharide is non-digestible carbohydrate and pass through the digestive tract to the colon. [Fig.1]
Promotion of the growth of Lactic acid bacteria in intestine [Fig.2]  chiken
Reduces intestinal pH [Fig.3]  chiken
Excludes Salmonella and Escherichia coli [Fig.4-1 and Fig4-2]  chiken
Improves the condition of feces [Fig.5-1 and 5-2]  pigcalf
Improves weight gain [Fig.6]  pigcalf
Improves feed efficiency [Fig.7]  pig
Enhances milk productions [Fig.8]  calf
Improves egg productions [Fig.9]  chiken

Fig.1    Resistance of Dextran-oligosaccharide to artifical gastric juice
(Comparison with Fructo-oligo.)

Since Dextran-oligosaccharide in MHF is not digested by gastric juice, the oligosaccharide reaches intestines efficiently. Therefore lactic acid bacteria grow up by utilizing Dextran-oligosaccharide in it.

(promoting the growth of Lactobacillus bifidus)

Lactic acid bacteria produces organic acids like lactic acid from MHF, and the various organic acids reduce intestinal pH. Therefore, low pH is helpful in preventing infections of pathogenic and growths of non-beneficial bacteria.
